Risk disclaimer
Standard SEBI disclaimer: Registration as a Research Analyst by SEBI and certification from NISM in no way guarantee the performance of the intermediary or provide any assurance of returns to investors. Investments in the securities markets are subject to market risk. Read all related documents carefully before investing.
1. Nature of our service
Trading Profit (SEBI RA Reg. INH100004775) is a Research Analyst, not an Investment Adviser, not a Portfolio Manager, and not a broker. We publish research and recommendations on Indian equity, derivatives, commodities and IPOs for educational purposes. We do not give personalised investment advice, we do not manage your portfolio, and we do not execute trades on your behalf.
2. Market risk
All investments in securities markets carry risk. The value of securities can rise or fall. Past performance is not indicative of future results. There is no guarantee that any recommendation we publish will be profitable, or that any thesis will play out. Markets can and do invalidate any view, sometimes without warning.
3. Risk of leveraged products
Derivatives (futures and options) involve leverage. Losses in leveraged products can exceed the margin deposited and may exceed the original capital. Index and stock options can expire worthless. Trading derivatives is suitable only for investors who fully understand the risks and have the financial capacity to bear losses.
4. No guarantee of accuracy
While we apply professional standards to our research, we make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data, view or recommendation. Information sources, including exchanges and data vendors, may contain errors. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on such information.
5. Your personal responsibility
You alone are responsible for every investment or trading decision you make. Before acting on any recommendation, you must: (a) consider your own financial situation, investment objectives and risk tolerance; (b) understand the security and the strategy fully; (c) consult an independent qualified Investment Adviser if you require personalised advice; (d) accept that the recommendation may be wrong and that you may lose money.
6. Position sizing & capital allocation
We publish recommended position sizes (typically 0.5–1.5% of risk capital per trade). These are guidelines, not personalised allocations. You must determine the actual position size appropriate for your overall portfolio, leverage tolerance and circumstances.
7. No tax, legal or accounting advice
We do not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Tax implications of any trading or investment activity depend on your individual circumstances and should be discussed with a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax adviser.
8. Forward-looking statements
Any forward-looking statements in our research (such as expected price targets, time horizons, or anticipated events) are estimates based on current information and assumptions. Actual outcomes may differ materially.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Trading Profit, its directors, employees, analysts and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our research, including but not limited to trading losses, lost profits, or loss of opportunity. Our maximum aggregate liability to any client in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by that client in that period.
10. Beware of unauthorised representation
We communicate only through: our member portal, registered email IDs (@tradingprofit.in), and our official Telegram channel (members only). We will never contact you on personal phone numbers, unofficial WhatsApp groups, or ask for payment to a personal bank account. If you encounter anyone impersonating Trading Profit, please report immediately to compliance@tradingprofit.in.
By subscribing, you confirm you have read, understood and accepted this Risk Disclaimer, the MITC and the Disclosures in full.
